Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. is an international moving service company. We handle commercial, private, governmental, diplomatic, vehicles and pet relocations around the world. Founded in 2001, Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. is the leader in providing relocation solutions in Panama.

Foundation

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp., It was founded in August 2001 by Walter M. Laffitte

2002

IAM

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. becomes part of the International Moving Association (IAM).

2004

LACMA

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. joins the Latin American and Caribbean International Movers Association (LACMA).

2005

FIDI

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. joins the International Federation of International Movers – FIDI (Federation Internationale des Demenageurs Internationaux) and obtains the FAIM Quality Certification. (FIDI Accredited International Mover).

2006

BASC

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. obtains the BASC Certification (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) and establishes a Cargo Control and Security Management System.

2007

OMNI

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. accepts the invitation to be a member of the OMNI network (Overseas Moving Network International).

2008

IPATA

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. joins the International Pet and Animal Transportation Association (IPATA).

2009

IATA

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. joins the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

2014

IAM LOGISTICS NETWORK

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. joins the IAM Logistics Network (IAM commercial cargo section).

2014

THE COOPERATIVE

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. becomes member of The Cooperative Logistic Network (recognized freight agent network).

2015

ISO 9001:2008

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. obtains the ISO 9001: 2008 certification and establishes a Service Quality Management System.

2016

Operation Smile

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. makes an alliance with Operation Smiles, where it makes a donation for each shipment it makes.

2018

ISO 9001:2015

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification, which extends the scope of its Service Quality Management System.

2018

OEA

Canal Movers & Logistics Corp. obtains the OEA certification (Authorized Economic Operator), granted by the National Customs Authority of the Republic of Panama and promoted by the World Customs Organization in its SAFE framework, for safer trade.
